Where to Eat at Walt Disney World

A Note From Mandy

I've planned countless Disney vacations for clients and visited Walt Disney World many times with my own family. Throughout these guides, you'll see sections like Mandy's Must Try, Mandy's Take, and Mandy's Planning Tip. These are my personal recommendations based on what we've experienced and what I've found works best for my clients. 🫶

Dining at Walt Disney World can be one of the most overwhelming parts of planning a trip.

Between table-service reservations, quick-service meals, snacks, character dining, and deciding whether it’s worth leaving the parks for a resort restaurant, there are a lot of options to sort through.

This guide is designed to help you narrow down the best fit for your trip—whether you’re looking for a special meal, a quick breakfast before rope drop, or a great family-friendly dinner after a park day.

See something that catches your eye? I've included a link to the official Walt Disney World Dining page at the bottom of this guide. There you can browse menus, view pricing, and learn more about each restaurant. You can also filter by park, table-service, quick-service, character dining, and more to help narrow down your options.

Before You Book Dining
A few important things to know before your dining reservation window opens.
  • Disney Resort guests can make dining reservations 60 days before check-in for their entire stay (up to 10 nights). All other guests can book 60 days in advance, one day at a time.
  • Dining reservations typically open at approximately 6:00 AM Eastern. (5:00 AM Central)
  • Character meals, signature restaurants, and a few high-demand locations tend to book the fastest.
  • Many quick-service locations offer Mobile Order, which can save a lot of time during your park day.
  • If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, be sure to double-check which restaurants participate before booking.

🪄If your dining window is opening soon and you’re feeling overwhelmed, this is one of the areas we help our Disney clients with most. We are always happy to give recommendations and help narrow down what’s actually worth booking for your trip

💡Mandy's Tip

Before we get started - here's something to think about if you purchased the Disney Dining (Table-Service) plan

If you're on the Disney Dining Plan, think about where you're using your table-service credits. I usually recommend saving them for restaurants that are a little more expensive, character meals, or dining experiences you'd probably skip if you were paying out of pocket. You'll often get more value from your dining credit that way.

And don't forget—if you're 21 or older, your meal can include an alcoholic beverage at participating restaurants, which is another nice way to maximize your dining plan.

Want to see which restaurants participate in the Disney Dining Plan and how many dining credits each one requires? I've included a direct link to Disney's official Dining Plan page at the bottom of this page.

✨Mandy's Must Try

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls!

If you can only pick one snack... make it the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls! We grab them every single trip, and they're one of those snacks I find myself craving long after we're home.

✨Worth it for the Experience
🌹Be Our Guest

While Be Our Guest isn't technically a character dining experience, I couldn't leave it off this list.

Beast makes an appearance throughout the restaurant, but he doesn't stop at each table for photos or autographs.

That said, there's something truly magical about dining inside Beast's Castle. From the grand ballroom to the enchanted West Wing, there's definitely a "wow" factor the moment you walk inside. Which makes this one of the most immersive dining experiences at Walt Disney World.

If you're a Beauty and the Beast fan, this is absolutely worth considering for the atmosphere alone.

💳 Breakfast: 1 Table-Service Credit
Lunch & Dinner: 2 Table-Service Credits

✨Be sure to look at their menu linked below. If you have picky eaters, this probably isn't a place I would recommend.

✨Mandy's Must Try

If you've been around me long enough, you already know where I'm sending you... Morocco!

Forget the sweets—I'm heading straight for the freshly made Stone-Baked Bread with the trio of dipping sauces. (Because of course... it's bread that you can dip. 😂) I'm much more of a savory girl than a sweets girl, and this is one snack I look forward to every single trip!

✨Worth it for the Experience
🚀 Space 220

Space 220 is one of the hardest dining reservations to get at Walt Disney World, and it's easy to see why.

Your experience begins before you ever sit down to eat. You'll board the Stellarvator, where you'll "launch" 220 miles above Earth to the Centauri Space Station. Once you arrive, your views are floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Earth from space. Keep an eye out- you might even spot astronauts floating by during your meal!

Even the cocktails and mocktails are themed, with fun options like the Stargarita and Lightyear Lemonade, featuring glowing cubes, popping candy, or even cotton candy.

As for the food, we've always had great meals here. My personal favorites are the Interstellar Steak & Frites and the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts. 😍

💡 Planning Tip: If Space 220 is on your wish list, make it one of your highest-priority dining reservations. This restaurant books up quickly, so having a plan when your dining window opens can make all the difference.

✨ Mandy's Must Try

Ronto Roasters

It probably won't surprise you that this is my pick! 😄

The Breakfast Ronto Wrap is our go-to and favorite breakfast at Hollywood Studios.

We rope drop Rise of the Resistance, so it fits perfectly into our morning—and grabbing one right after getting off Rise has become a tradition every trip.

✨Worth it for the Experience
🌌 Oga's Cantina

Even if you're not the biggest Star Wars fan, Oga's Cantina is worth experiencing at least once.

From the moment you walk through the doors, it feels like you've stepped right into the Star Wars universe. The music, lighting, sounds, and atmosphere make this one of the most immersive experiences at Walt Disney World.

Don't expect a full meal here- Oga's is known for its creative cocktails, mocktails, and a handful of small bites. Many of the drinks feature fun touches like dry ice, bubbling effects, or unique presentations that make the experience so memorable.

💡 Don't panic if you're assigned to the bar! The first time we visited, we had no idea seating was so limited, and when they told us we'd be standing at the bar, I wasn't sure how our group was going to feel about it after a long park day.

It ended up being one of the highlights of our visit!

The bartenders behind the bar are incredibly entertaining, and watching them make the drinks is part of the experience. We were seated at a table on a later visit, and I actually asked if we could move back to the bar! Trust me on this one—the bar is where the fun is.

If you have a Star Wars fan in your family, this is an easy recommendation. And even if you don't, it's still one of the most unique experiences you'll find at Walt Disney World.

⭐ Mandy's Must Try

Satu'li Canteen - Cheeseburger Pods

If you only try one quick-service meal at Animal Kingdom, make it Satu'li Canteen.

Yes, the customizable bowls are fantastic... but I'm sending you there for the Cheeseburger Pods.

There's just something about them! Soft steamed bao buns stuffed with seasoned ground beef, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and cheddar cheese—they're unlike anything else you'll find at Walt Disney World.

Even better, Satu'li Canteen is one of my favorite places to take a break during the day. It's spacious, air-conditioned, and usually much quieter than many of the other quick-service locations, making it the perfect place to cool off, recharge, and enjoy a great meal before heading back out to explore the park.

Trust me... order the Cheeseburger Pods. 😊

✨ Worth it for the Experience
Nomad Lounge

If you ask me for one place to escape the crowds at Animal Kingdom, I'm sending you to Nomad Lounge.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere completely changes. It's calm, peaceful, and feels like a hidden oasis tucked away inside the park. Whether you choose to sit indoors or outside overlooking the water, it's the perfect place to slow down and recharge for a little while. If you're lucky enough to snag a seat outside, you'll even enjoy beautiful views toward the Tree of Life.

As for the food... don't skip the Tuna Poke Bowl. After several days of burgers, fries, and Disney snacks, it's one of my favorite meals because it feels fresh and light.

Traveling with picky eaters? Even the kids' menu is a winner. The chicken nuggets here are some of the best you'll find anywhere at Walt Disney World!
